Considering the trouble Samsung have been having with some of their SSDs, the last thing I would want to trust my data on is a refurbished one from Geek squad.

That seems to be limited to the 980 and 990 Pro in 1 & 2TB size. Not to the other models and sizes.
I've got 3 Geek Squad Samsungs. All are fine, been in use a good while. 2 were nearly new, and the other had a minor amount of use but was and is still 100%.
I think they can be a good deal if they have what you want at a price you're good with.

At just $10 difference from new, probably not worth the trouble. I remember last year the geek squad refurbished drives deal, most people got returned new drives. I got one with just 2 power cycles on it. But with a saving of only $10, might as well get a new one.
