This is a pretty good price, but it sometimes dips as low as $1750 , so keep that in mind.

I can tell you that even 1 of these is enough to fill a pretty large normal room space with tons of bass, but bass is about way more than output. Its about room modes, wave lengths positioning, etc.
You cant get good coverage with just one sub, or multiple subs in one location.
So unless you have a ton of space and plan to get more than one of these, I would say you are much better off getting the single versions and placing them in different places rather than trying to jump on this and get just one of these.
This will make it easier to power (1000w), easier to place (smaller size), and provide better coverage, so even if your comparing one of these to two single 15's and you think this will save you a few hundred dollars, the performance increase you will get with proper placement of multiple subs and other conveniences is easily worth the extra money.
And if you ever scale up from say 2, to 3 or 4. It's easier to scale.
With 4x 15's I can fill the whole house, and knock stuff off the walls in every room, nearly shattered the sliding glass door to the back patio and that is with the gain at like 50% and not turned up all the way on my AVR.
4x of these would just be impossible to contain without a dedicated build space, and you would never be able to turn them up without ear protection.

Getting a 3rd sub and adding it to the back beside the sofa completely fixed all my issues, and then I got the 4th just for symmetry lol.
But I also picked up all 4 when they were $1199 or $1099 back in the day.
I have also since done a DIY 18" build that I use in the bedroom. If I didn't already have the monoliths I for sure would have gone 4x 18" sealed DIY subs.
Performance is insane and it hits ULF even better (without fear of blowing up below the tuning frequency of the port) and is quite musical on the higher end while taking up less space.
Attaching the sweep results in my main setup from all 3 main seating potions. I have yet to even see a professional paid setup done so well, and this is an open room.
I tuned it flat for my sweep before room correction and then have DIRAC add my room curve on the fly to boost the low end based on my content.
