I tried this amp for couple of weeks with KEF Q150s and JBL 530s a year ago. I hated every second of it. Sound is too "tuby". Hard to explain but it was not pleasant to my ears. Cheap Aiyima A07 sounds better than this.

Interesting. Ive used these yamaha a/b amps used for my whole life but just bought the a07 due to the stellar reviews. How you finding it?
Anyone has suggestions on a decent 2 channel receiver with A+B functionality? Need to run two pairs of ceiling speakers. Don't care if it's something old on eBay.

I bought A07 to try and I kept it because it is too good for it's price. Nice thick bass and good mids. But highs are unrefined. My daily driver is Audiolab 6000A, which is an amazing amp. A07 is not a giant killer, but it's amazing to see that one can enjoy "audiophile" grade sound at such a low price.
Is there 2.1 version of these. I want to set up speakers for my room, don't need 5.1, I just want to replace the Bluetooth speakers with actual speakers. Sound is so much better when you have two bookshelf speakers compared to any Bluetooth speaker or sound bar in the market. If all you want is music, 2.1 or even 2 with some beefy speakers is all you need.
Any suggestions? I want to be able to stream from my computer.
I tried this to run 2 svs tower speaker. It is meh. I returned and got the yamaha tsr 700 from costco on sale . I was thinking I may not need that many channel since I only have 2 speakers and they are rated similarly for power. But man I was wrong the tsr 700 sounded much better I mean much better. I tough it may be useful to someone. I think tsr 700 was a steal and it was not targeted by sound enthusiastic because being for home theater but I believe it's amp is equivalent to much more expensive 2 channel Amps when it comes to sound quality

Couple of options. You can buy this for the Stereo 2 channel, then buy a sub with high level inputs. That's what I do. Essentially, speaker group A goes to the standard speakers, and speaker group B goes to a powered sub like this:
You might want a nicer sub, but if you're just using it for music, the Monoprice is a good little sub, and it goes on sale for $50 regularly. The speaker wire inputs on the back accept the speaker wire outs from the amp, just set your levels. Mine's a Sony amp, but it's the same basic setup as this. You can always have Speaker group A on if you don't want the rumble from the sub, and switch it to use A+B to have the speakers and the sub at the same time.
Alternatively, if you don't need all the inputs that an integrated amp provides, go small:

This deal is highly questionable though. Bought it for $50 brand new at Best buy a few years ago on a deal from here.

That's nothing fancy, but Fosi makes good stuff, it's got basic EQ, and a subwoofer out. Either one'll give you a good stereo setup.

I learned a lesson that day - buy first post later. I didn't even get a chance to buy one!
