Darn, got excited since I've been eyeing one for my Explorian, but then saw that its for the Ascent only.

FYI, its also the same price one Amazon.

I was thinking the same as you but I read on the Best Buy link, under Questions, where some one asked if it would fit Explorian models and the reply from Vitamix was Yes. I'm thinking of getting it for my E520 from Costco.

My explorian came with a 32oz dry that I use all the time to chop veggies. Love it for that alone. It's my salsa maker
