I think it could be cheaper, but still not bad if you're in the market...

Meh, not bad if you need it now. But I paid $82 for a 6 and 4 combo last fall with the hack.

I bought this exact set last year on sale for $99, so I think this is a pretty good deal.

It's also been on the front page at this price quite a few times recently, though, so you probably won't be missing out if you skip this.

For those who are interested, Home Depot just started selling some of Ridgid's outdoor power equipment a few days ago. Most people that have Ridgid tools probably went with a different brand of outdoor equipment years ago like I did, but just thought I would let people know.

A couple of weeks ago DTO had two 4.0 AH and one 2.0 AH for $65 + $15 shipping, and they were max output. I didn't really need them, but part of me it still kicking myself for not jumping on it.

Is this a better deal than Ryobi days in the summer?

It's apples to oranges. Ryobi days are cheaper. Ridgid batteries have free replacement for life. Ridgid generally outperforms Ryobi, but Ryboi has a wider selection. Better deal depends on what you prioritize.

Ryobi has more interesting home use tools.
