Best buy usually has them, the ideapad 15 is similar in build quality to this and is much more common to see in store

If this was only a 15-16" monitor I would pick one up. Seems hard to find that size with these specs lately.

Truth. I want a bigger screen and number pad. About to just throw in the towel and get a 14" or buy something full price

I have a 5 year old version of this laptop. 14", 1080p, i7, 16gb RAM, 512gb SSD, big battery, USB-C charging, etc. Still use it daily and still love it. Bone stock. It also had the constantly running fan noise. If you go into the BIOS and change the CPU throttling to 99% instead of 100% the fan rarely runs. Only playing games will my fan run.

The only thing I don't like is that the fingerprint scanner stopped working after a few years and randomly starts working again so I assume it's a loose connection. Also they claimed the screen was anti-glare, but it was 100% glossy. Easy fix with a laptop screen protector.


Super small. Super light. And the battery still lasts 7-9+ hours when it was 9+ hours when new. I've used this every day at home and traveling a lot.

If I didn't live in Japan I'd order one of these now.

How is this in comparison to the one Amazon has for President's Day sale as I am not much of a Computer Geek. Any advice will be highly appreciated.
Just need for basic use, browsing, meetings etc. No hifi computing work.

I got this for my wife. This is a landscape 14' laptop it's narrower than other 14" laptops. We had to mess with the camera setting it has a auto blurr filter that does not work correctly onve turned off all lookes great.

I'd be all over this if it was a touchscreen. I find this feature very useful on 14" or smaller display.
