Looks like this would be regular price. I hope it would be less than $500 thanksgiving. Close to $800 shipped is still a little expensive

I do not recall when the price of any Apple product drop ~40% from MSRP. However, they might lower the price if they release Apple Watch Ultra II whilst having plenty of stock of previous model

Very unlikely. Apple doesn't like to devalue their products like that. They're more likely to remove a feature and call it "Ultra Lite" or something rather than just dropping the price.

I still do not get the $400 increase over the 8. I cannot imagine much of a resell on this either in a year or two. This seems like it should have been $500-$600 at the most.

In for one of these, i don't like the alpine so I got the more comfortable trail band bc of the potential for the buckle scratching when you take the watch off. I'll use a knockoff Amazon band when I go in the water. Can't wait to get this bad boy.

A 45mm Series 8 Apple Watch with cellular is $529. So a $200 increase for this sale price. That $200 gets you a sapphire crystal (the standard Apple Watch face scratches very easily), and twice the battery life. In addition to all the Ultra-specific features.

That should not be completely ruled out. Currently the S7 45mm SS with metal loop (with MSRP $799 same as Ultra) is on sale for $460.

It is NOT. The same 8 45mm with celluar costs $529 + $50 (for band) = $579.

It is only $221 more.​

This one is crazy expensive and bulky!

I want an apple watch but battery is a problem. Why dont they double or triple the battery? I used series 5 and I destroyed it rescently in an accident. I get 1 day sometimes less battery life.
It was a joke.
