Since when did parents with children in daycare become "old people"?
If you're not a zoomer, you might as well be dead, I guess.
Maybe that because the younger kids can't afford it. On Running is are not cheap shoes.

so the younger kids are wearing $150+ popular brand shoes, but can't afford $100 OC's?

I think it's more that it just hasn't caught on with them on a popularity/style factor.

I have 2 On running shoes. I wouldn't claim that is the best when it comes to comfort. Helion foam is not exactly I would call comfortable. On Cloud Monster is great. I love my On Shoes, but there are more comfortable shoes out there. Pebax foam like Zoomx or Saucony's PBrun. New Balance Fresh Foam X and Fuel Cell are comfortable as well. Same with Asics' Flyte Foam, but then again our feet all different. Maybe it is the most comfortable for you.
You're definitely right its all subjective! Thanks for the info! I'll definitely the check out both the Zoomx and Saucony's I've been meaning to try out some Sauconys for a while.

It's weird. I can't say these aren't good running shoes, as I know nothing about them. But I don't know a single person in my running group who has ever run in these or knows much about them. And I know people are getting flamed here for saying it, but it's true in my observation, I've never seen anyone under 30 wearing these. And I'm not bashing "old people", because I'd love to be 30 again.

When we say younger kids. Are we talking about 18 - 25 year old wearing Yeezys? Air Jordans? We can say that they are not for the same demographics.

I would agree with you on that. These aren't sold at your local foot locker or finish line. It is sold at specialty running stores. I know my local Nordstroms sell On Running.

Yes, I would not use my On shoes for running, but their newer Cloud Monster got good reviews.

OC shoes regularly START at $150 for their more budget brand models and they rarely go on sale which is why this is a slick deal. Most of their more premium lines are closer to $200 and up. Which isn't that much for the demographic that OC tends to attract.

Maybe, but I still believe it's more simply because they haven't been advertised/marketed for younger demographics. I think if they were the "it" shoe like some of these limited runs like basketball player edition sneakers, kids would still be scooping them up.

I fully agree with you. I don't think OC advertises or markets these for kids. I can't recall a single add featuring kids wearing these.

Edit: sorry, I keep saying kids, but I'm talking up to young adults in their mid 20's,

Agreed. One of the more popular shoes for these "younger" demographics is the Yeezy line and for me it's one of the ugliest sneakers I've seen but since it was designed Kanye and lots of celebrities are wearing then they become so popular even with a ridiculous price tag.
