Mint doesn't lock Pixel phones, so you can use it on any network right away.

Note you need to add some to the price for 12 months worth of the regulatory fees that they will charge at checkout. Probably $20 to $30 depending where you are.

Can probably resell the SIM but be cautious to tell the person they must port in a number within 45 days to get the 6 months free.

Yes, it works on all major carriers. Also, the GSM vs CDMA issue is almost moot at this point. Verizon decommissioned their CDMA network on January 3rd this year and Sprint decommissioned theirs in June 2022. So new phones, unless they are carrier locked for some other reason, should work with any carrier.

I don't see the option for the 12 months of service, only 6 months. What am I missing?

The bundle includes 6 months, and you get 6 months free, so total 12 months.

What are you going to do with those shots? Asking seriously since same thing is advertised for S22/23 Ultra. Apparently people need those pictures for something, I think that could be accomplished through $50 binoculars and phone camera on the other end but still….. what FOR?
Might seem like a crazy notion, but I'd guess pictures (of anything) are taken to look at, either by the photographer or other folks with eyeballs. Also, binoculars are for same said eyeballs, not a camera with a single lens.

Thanks, but I'm not seeing it. The fine print says:

Interesting, I just read that Google VPN is now free on Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. Would there be a better deal on the Pro? Decisions...

Worth mentioning for those who care is that the 12 months service is ~ $200 incl taxes, which means that the phone costs ~$207

Dumb question: Does this phone work on all major providers like Verizon? I remember we had GSM vs. CDMA issue when I was young!

I think 7 has two models, one which is supposed to have mmWave for Verizon which can be bought from Verizon only (unlocked from Google will be "regular" version). If you don't care about mmWave then it should work just fine on any network that supports/allows it.

Current Mint customer. I gave it a go with customer service to see if they would match the deal for a current customer. No luck, but the rep did say it will be extended to current customers "very soon."
