If the noise isn't an issue, then I will say it's a bit of a challenge getting use to the travel (or lack there of) of the Ornata compared to that of the Huntsman/Blackwidow. The latter two are my daily drivers, so when I do happen to go back to the Ornata from time to time (not every day), the quality/accuracy of my typing does take a bit of a hit. I also notice that my fingers kinda hurt when I use it for prolonged periods of time because I think I try to click down "harder" with the Ornata (because my fingers are just used to pushing down more given the longer travel on the Huntsman/Blackwidow) due to the less travel.
Ultimately, I do really like the Ornata, but given that you already have a Huntsman, you may find yourself in the same situation as I find myself in if you're consistently going to be swapping between the two. I hope that feedback helps.
I ended up getting a Keychron K2 V2 on Amazon and it was Mac compatible out of the box, with the proper command and option keys installed. It comes with extra key caps for Windows too, so somebody can swap them out whenever they want. There's also a switch on the side of the keyboard to switch between Mac and Windows. Mac is the default out of the box.
You can choose the key switches you want. They have Red, Blue and Brown.
It all comes down to individual personal preference. I ended up getting the brown for myself and I'm happy with that choice. It's the best keyboard I've ever had. It's a joy to type on.
The model I bought was about $100, but they have other models for cheaper and others more expensive. It all depends on the options that somebody chooses (steel frame, wireless, hot swappable, RGB, size of keyboard and number of keys etc.).

You can also set the RGB settings on a home computer and it typically will remember those settings.
If you want to control the RGB or customize many of the keys, I think you will need to use Razer Synapse. I use Razer Synapse to create RGB profiles for my Ornata Chroma. I use AutoHotkey scripts to configure hotkeys. I believe Ornata models have a default RGB profile that might potentially run as long as it has power (i.e., Razer Synapse not required), but I can't say for sure. One annoying thing I initially had to deal with was the keyboard reverting to a default, breathing RGB profile when my computer is locked. I don't remember exactly how I did it, but I was able to configure my primary profile to shut off all keyboard lights (except for the numlock indicator) when my computer is locked. Note that because of the relatively shallow keycaps, compared to many gaming keyboards, almost all of the RGB illumination appears between in the spaces between/around they keys. Light does shine through the keys themselves, but it's insignificant compared to how much light is visible between the keys. This doesn't necessarily bother me, but I did notice this difference compared to some of my friends' fully-mechanical RGB keyboards.
I will say, after a while, I don't even notice or care about the RGB, though some illumination is handy since the print on the keycaps is translucent (not white, like on some black keyboards). It can be fun to tinker with at times, but I largely don't notice it anymore. I also don't game much, or use my keyboard for most of my gaming, but if I had to buy another keyboard today, even though I haven't had any issues with this one, I would probably look for one that had really good reliability and allowed for full removal/customization of keycaps, and some extra buttons for assigning more unique hotkeys.
