    For 3D fans, this is the ONLY way to get Friday the 13th 3D that supports 3D tvs vs red/blue paper glasses.

    For Kane Hodder fans (Played Jason multiple times) check out "Kill Her Goats" shipping in March and looking to be very 80-ish horror movie style

    Yep. I have this set. Picture quality is excellent. In fact, Part 1 is IMO better than the new 4K UHD version. The 4K version has crushed blacks and other tweaks that make it inferior.

    However, part 1 in this set is matted to 1.85:1 to match the other films. If you want the same transfer, but 'opened up' for 1.78:1, you'll want the single-disc Paramount steelcase version (~$8).

    I like the new paramount 4 k. Black levels are top notch and picture quality is awesome

    The first four or five films are sourced from 4k remasters in this set. I don't think these remasters are streaming anywhere, so if you want top picture quality, you need this set. Unfortunately, my favorite installment, part VI, is not remastered. However, the set is chock full of extras. Well worth $80 for 1- 5 remastered and all the extras plus part 3 in true blu-ray 3d. The 3D is full pop-out of the screen variety too. Lots of fun!

    So all of these comments and nobody is going to mention that there are only 11 films? Freddy vs Jason is a crossover and doesn't count and I'm not even sure where they are getting the 13th film... I guess the 3d version of part 3??
