Lukewarm IMO. I'm an AMD guy, but for this price range the best value is going with a i5 12400 and B660 board with cheap ddr4 ram.

I agree that the deal is lukewarm, meaning small but not big discount.

When comparing this to the i5 12400 and B660 board, don't agree though. Looking at Newegg and Amazon, both of those would be around $320. According to Hardware Unboxed in YouTube, this Ryzen 5600X is about 3-4% on average faster on gaming stock. Then you can overclock this combo which you can't do with the Intel combo; and both use DDR4 RAM. Perhaps I missed it though. My friend is building a cheap PC for his 8-year-old son. Will you please provide a link to the parts you've referenced?

I noticed that too but just curious, what's the difference between PRO B550M-VC WIFI and the B550M PRO-VDH WIFI boards?
