Do you have to request unlock code or do an unlock process they any app or does it unlock automatically in it's own?
Unlocks via an app on the phone.

How is this vs moto? I'm leaning towards moto for more RAM.
moto has more ram and more storage and can be bootloader unlocked. samsung has one extra camera , long term software support and better display. now decide whats important for you.

If you reduce the cost of the service you paid under 300$ for the pixel 7. It's definitely worth it for that price, plus your getting 5 years of software updates
Good point. Plus I like how the Google flagships can typically be traded in to knock $200 - $300 off of an upgrade to a newer Pixel a few years later. Doubt that can be done with the A23

Is this just a flat fee? Does it have autopay attached to this deal? I am good with the $50 month of service but do I have to jump through hoops to cancel after a month?

Looks I have met the limit with two A14s per household, and cannot get the A53. Anyone know the Metro rules, does it reset once per year or some other time frame?
I bought 2 moto stylus and 2 A14, from November to February, 1 phone for each month

$50 even. You don't have to do anything after one month. Service will end if you don't pay after one month.

You only have to pay $50 flat, nothing else, no autopay required, no need to cancel either, just don't pay the next month and the line will just cancel by itself

Is there any tax or BS fees on top of the $50?

What if you're currently with T-Mobile postpaid and want to get this? Can you port from TM to Metro so you don't have to pay for an extra line and then wait 6 months before being able to unlock it and use it on TM? Does the unlocking apply only to carriers outside the TM/Metro network, or also to TM from Metro?

We're currently on the 2-line 55+ Magenta (not Max) plan for $75/mo total, so even if we could port to Metro to get this phone we'd end up paying either $25 (2 x $50 = $100 - $75 = $25) extra for the one month if it can be ported back to TM in a month, or 6 x $25 = $150 if not and we have to wait 6 months.

Either way that's a great deal for 2 S23's. But that's assuming that this can be done.

Btw do they also offer TMobile Tuesdays on Metro?

Also, with 4GB RAM & 64GB storage, this is the "low end" S23, right? Any other cons, like no wireless or fast charging, etc.?
Bro,this is an A23 not a S23, different galaxies ( no pun intended).
Secondly, if you are still interested in this A23, you can buy it from metro and not have to pay for the subsequent months. Just put the phone away in a place where you can remember ( trust me, you might forget) and after six months you can unlock this phone and use it with any other carrier you want. Once again no need to buy any more service for 6 months.

How is this popular? 2 years ago I received A32 5G for "free" from TMobile by trading in an old worn out phone. No new line or anything. $50 for fees and tax.

Yes, it was 64GB.
