The Motorola G Stylus 5G 2022 that Metro has for $40 deal has all the bands for any carrier...

Thank you and repped. But just just went out of stock online. No interest in navigating their shadiness in store. Will keep checking their website.
For those asking why some phones do not work with Verizon, it is because of CDMA vs GSM.

Am I crazy or yesterday I saw the A53 Bring Your Number (port-in) pricing at $50? I thought about the deal and figured will order tomorrow. It is $230 today with port-in.

It is probably because Verizon is CDMA and Visible Wireless uses Verizon towers. Metro by T-Mobile uses GSM.
I thought the a23 5g phone itself supports GSM and CDMA so it shouldn't be an issue?

Any cashback sites for this deal?

Also, why does SD mark this deal as expired already?

Can I buy this phone and put a different METRO SIM with another number? Will it work? I am putting only a metro sim, not another carrier.
You can't do it while the other account is active. It will know that the phone is currently tied to an open account. You have to wait either for the new account to automatically cancel after 1 month when you don't pay for the next month, or call customer service to cancel early. I personally feel like calling and cancelling raises too many red flags when I'm already a Metro customer with another line I don't want them to know about, so I'd just wait the month.

Just tried to check out, in the final page it showed a $50 charge due monthly, and there was no autopay option. Seems they may try to commit me to a monthly charge of $50 even for prepaid ? Am I worrying too much ? I didn't submit the order.

The auto pay option shows after you receive & activate the phone and log into your metro account.

Anyone know of a mobile provider who is sub $50 monthly and doesn't deprioritize 4G data? I'm finding that even paying for "premium data" with prepaid providers isn't getting me very fast speeds.

Anyone tried to unlock this (or different Metro PCS locked phone ) with a third party unlock service ? When I Bing search, a ton of them show up for as little as $20, unlock within 10mins.

I believe Google Fi doesn't de-prioritize until you hit the soft data cap.
