Just as an aside, I'm not sure if this is a "deal" because Wal-Mart's Equate brand has the same amount for the same price.

Seems like a good price. The main thing I look for other than it being cheap is the highest concentration of menthol possible. I'd prefer 18-20 mg instead of 5-10 mg.

Me too. I think the Vicks VapoCOOL SEVERE are the only ones with that high of menthol.

If you don't eat these regularly, would it be better to start with a low concentrate?

Yes, start low. Not many can take a higher menthol, at least not at first.

I'm curious as to why you would need to consume these often enough to ask about building up a tolerance. Although my wife has breathing issues and eats these practically like candy.
