These days people want everything free to be slick.
If you want another number for app accounts (that's my motivation), or more TF minutes or months, this is a great deal. Maybe you'll get lucky, and they'll send you a $15 off $30 coupon for unlimited use through March 14. Yes.
Come to think of it, I do love this phone. $27.14 w/tax, minus cash back (site) and credit card makes it easy to love. Without a coupon, I'd buy fewer.
1) add as a new line to existing account to get the 5,000 reward points, then merge the remaining service with an existing line after 60 days
2) transfer the service to an existing line right away
Seems like #1 offers the best value but not sure if I'm missing something
