The combo of acetaminophen and ibuprofen is pretty much the strongest pain relief combo I can get over the counter. But I like to have the individual components instead of the "premixed" medications so that I can adjust the dosing as needed. (It's also much cheaper if you buy generics of the classic meds.) Just make sure you look up doses and understand the info, or talk to a pharmacist first.

Tylenol is not an NSAID. Mixing Tylenol and NSAIDs is both safe and highly effective.

Don't take NSAIDS (Ibu/Aleve) if you have any stomach issues. Go easy on them regardless.

Acetaminophen is fine as long as you watch dosing and don't double dip. ie folks take tylenol by itself in combo with some cough/pain meds that already have it in there.

Definitely check the expiration dates when you buy medication at the Dollar tree. However if you can buy 144 capsules of both 250mg ibuprofen and 500mg acetaminophen for less than this you should do so. Since I have 5+ subscribe and saves my total is $7.98, I can't touch 144 capsules of either dosage for $4 let alone both for <$8 at the local Walmart for example 130 200mg Advils are $9 by themselves....

No one trusts any sources these days. All that matters is gut instinct and the holy spirit. The shadow government controls all the source of information.

Just reduced empathy. It's also very poorly understood and minor, and temporary. Pretty benign in terms of medication side effects.

The dual action is time release coated for maximum effectiveness, so it's not like it's a gimmick.

If you're buying generics, at least try to match coatings. Mixing a rapid release gel with a time release capsule isn't as effective, for instance.

There are prescription option NSAIDs if you have stomach issues/gastritis/ulcer history. Namely celebrex and Meloxicam. They are COX2 selective, which means they spare the stomach lining/GI tract. Issue is they also spare platelets, so no "thinning" effect of the blood to offsets the decrease in heart perfusion, so they are not great in people with heart disease. But all in all, they are very safe, and vastly under utilized by doctors who forget they exist.
