Product Name: | GOAL ZERO 32450 Overview |
Product Description: | Use the Ranger 300 Briefcase Solar Panel to charge up your Goal Zero portable power station and enjoy clean energy for your appliances and devices any place the sun shines. The folding four-panel monocrystalline unit comes with automatically deploying kickstands, water-resistant junction boxes, and a High Power Port output that plugs into Goal Zero Yeti power stations. Under optimal conditions, charge times range from 4 hours for a Yeti 1000X to 24 hours for the Yeti 6000X. Using EFTE polymer instead of glass and a thin aluminum frame keeps the Ranger 300 under 40 pounds, so you get more power with less weight. Multiple Ranger 300s can be chained together if you have the optional Goal Zero 4x Higher Power Port (HPP) to High Power Port (HPP) combiner cable. |

my wife means can our Teslas actually come with solar panels on the top that will make a meaningful difference in when we have to charge. I think the answer is no....even with the Cybertruck I am planning to get
Assuming the Tesla is charged through another battery at full 12 kW rate (48A), minimizing losses (~94% efficient) because if you charge at 120v you're only about 50-70% efficient. You're looking at 277 hours total. Considering its about 6 hours average sun hours in Southern California (4 in winter, 8 in summer), that would be about 46 days of charging.
and i have a lot of goal zero equipment
