2nded. Antonline is an f'ing nightmare to deal with if anything goes wrong. They generally have some good sales, and is fine if everything ships on time and doesn't have any issues that would require return or contacting their CS, but for a free controller it just isnt worth the risk. The ebay protection makes this a somewhat reasonable option, but I can't say I'd every deal with these clowns again.

Are you asking if MSRP is a great deal? MSRP is what it is. It's the baseline off of which we judge these "deals." If you paid $600 even after shipping and tax then you didn't pay MSRP.

You can order one from Walmart online right now - disc console and controller only - all in for $545. That's after tax and with their free shipping.

Thats why I said "put the money into" and not "itll out right buy you one". IMO though the PC hardware is much a better investment. Lasts a lot longer relevancy-wise and the game library is "forever" (17 years and running on my Steam library). BUT, if you can have both a gaming PC and consoles, well, why not I guess? It's ooooonly money.

Thanks for the link. So can I subscribe to base essential packets for $10 a month or $60 a year and still have acces to that gamelist? On the link it showed some games with an * and some games not with an *. Correct me if I'm wrong but the games with astrik we'll no longer work after may with only the essential pack? Looks like I will only have until may regardless to play those games. Any deals on playstation network cards right now? Guess I'm in a time crunch to finish all those games regardless sounds like, At least with cheapest essential plan

Same goes for BestBuy in my experience. If everything goes as it was supposed to, you are OK. But if anything goes wrong, good luck with their completely outsourced and very low standard customer "support". It is a nightmare to deal with them

By the way, they became this way recently. About 4-5 years ago it wasnt the case, and I was Elite Plus member buying $3500+ each year

This many years into release hoping to get one for MSRP AFTER selling accessories is pathetic. This is far and away the weakest generation of consoles in my lifetime. I'll just play GoW in a year on PC like I did with the first one. Or Horizon..what other "exclusives" does the PS even offer?

It's annoying you get charged sales tax on the full price instead of the discounted price. Stings a bit when you're paying 10.25% sales tax

The deal is ok but its not a 800 dollar item discounted to the slick deal price shown here. I would probably consider the major retailers who are selling the console clean no bundle but if you were looking for gow and needed another controller this price isn't bad just wish it was from someone im familiar with.
