That's not what grey market is. Grey market is simply sold by someone who didn't get it from the manufacturer directly. Manufacturers have authorized retailers, the ones they directly supply their goods to. Jomashop just didn't get them direct from canada goose. Doesn't mean they're fake.
I never said these are fake.
I never said these are from CG.
And your Explanation of Grey Market doesn't make sense in the real world.
If someone is selling something they "didn't get from the manufacturer", you're telling me that's not a Fake …. THAT'S Grey Market.
So, i can make shoes in my American garage with the Nike swoosh, and that's a Grey Market item …. EVEN THOUGH I've never contracted with Nike.
Hogwash.
If i make shoes with a Nike swoosh, I'm making fake Nike shoes.
If I am/was contracted with Nike to make their shoes, and while I'm making and sending Nike a thousand shoes i ALSO use their designs, and MAYBE the same materials, to make extras, thus authentic goods diverted and distributed outside of the official distribution channels, without the brand or trademark holder's approval, then, YES, I am making Grey Market Nike shoes.
Otherwise: why have Fake versus Grey Market?
And of course Manufacturers have Retailers …. Nike and New Balance and Reebok and others no longer make "their own" shoes …. They do not own the factory …. but that doesn't mean that the Manufacturer has to produce only 100 shoes for that Retailer, just because they contracted to do so …. do you drive the speed limit everywhere, all the time?
Do you think that an executive from Nike sits there, in China, and counts how many sneakers are ACTUALLY being made, hourly …. daily … yearly??
In Fact, lastly, you disprove your own Logic when you admit that Jomashop is getting these jackets from someone other than CG …. CG doesn't make jackets, it contracts with a Manufacturer to make jackets, and it's that Manufacturer who makes extras that then get badged as "CG" and sold as "CG" on the Grey Market.

But if they didnt get it from the one and only company that produces the product.... what else would you call it but fake?

One small clarification. CG absoultly does make jackets. They own and operate 8 different manufacturing plants in Canada that produces their products. They are one of the few companies that doesn't rely on outside production.
It is very very highly probability, that if you buy a CG jacket that didnt come directly from CG, it is a fake. Every single CG jacket gets a code on a tag that shows where it was made and by whom. They know exactly which jackets came from their factories and which ones didnt.
