Some of Motorola devices won't be unlocked forever even when it meets the unlock policy requirement due to the lack of development between Motorola and the service provider. You might trade it in when lucky.

Would be a great deal if it can be unlocked easily. Without unlock, this is lukewarm at best.

12 month assuming with $25 plan = $300 + $200 for phone = $500. Might as well buy another flagship at that price.

I think you only have to pay for 1 month and then it unlocks after a year. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Nope, it needs continuous 12 month of service to unlock, else you would have wasted 11 months back to square one.

Did you have to do anything to add the phone. I'm also on the $25 but I don't see the option to add the phone. Where did you see it?

How is boost able to offer this phone at such a low price. ? According to these specs, it's better than the Pixel and nearly as good as Samsung's top of the line phones, but it's only $200. Motorola has to be selling these at a MASSIVE loss This is one of the best deals out there at the moment IMHO ........
There was a time when all top tier phones were $200. Apple doesn't make billions of dollars by selling phone for less than they cost to make. Im sure motorola is making money on each phone sold. Just like they were 20 years ago. Screen is like $3 cpu $25 max battery $10 ram $8 rom $8 motherboard $2 modem $20 frame $2. Less than $100 to build make and ship a near flagship phone.

I believe you are out of your mind. There was just a report out that a Pixel 7 Pro costs 400/unit to manufacture, with the most expensive part being the screen.

I was having the same issue . I signed up with the $40 plan. After the phone arrived I chatted with Boost on the app and asked them switch my plan to the $25 rate.
and were you successful?
