Very tempted. I have a gtx 3090, worth getting the gsync one or should this be fine?
Reviews I saw said anything above a 3080 should not need gsync (apparently gsync benefits are only seen when FPS drops below a certain point)

Slight benefits on the GSync version (DW) if using an RTX card: slightly higher max refresh and lower minimum VRR but its a wash because this version is newer with the extra DP port, quieter cooling, and firmware updates.

I pulled the trigger on this. Just got a 4090 recently and finding that my system is maxing out in games (RDR2 in particular) at 1440p ultrawide. Plus the HDR/OLED with improved blacks is worth it. Seems like a lot of people are happy with this monitor.

Just hoping that the text issues and HDR stuff isn't a big problem. 90 day warranty is a bit of a gamble but still over $400 off. I'm using a 3418DW currently and it never had any major issues so hoping it won't be different here.

Great score on rtings, but $700 after tax on a refurb with 90 day warranty is a dilemma.

Really want to pull the trigger on this but warranty holding me back right now. It's a good deal but I think the smart play would be to wait for a deal on a new version with Burn In 3 year warranty, not 90 days

I agree with others, not a good deal with only a 90 day warranty. The 3 year burn in warranty on these is a fantastic thing to have especially with reports of burn in happening under a year on the other model.

In for one. $300 off is worth the lack of warranty imo. Might not be for you. Repped. Probably the highest rated gaming monitor out right now.

Now I just need to sell my Odyssey G9

At this price point, it should have TB3 and USBC connector.
Also, it is not specs, but this one has a curve radius of 1800R, which is not really a curve or barely a curve.

I think I will wait for LG C2 42 deal when C3 comes out. I like versatility of being able to use 4k or run 21:9 for games with more FPS. Don't really think the curve and 175 hz over 120 hz is worth that trade off for me. The size of the 42 inch does make me a bit worried though.

I've got this monitor AMA.

It's good, not great. It's a little dim for my tastes and the HDR doesn't work great (needs a firmware update that's been taking forever). However, super fast response time, no ghosting, and vibrant colors.

I program on this as much as I game. The colors are weird on MacOS.

I'd be mindful of the warranty period on an OLED. It's 3yrs on a new one.
I almost pulled the trigger on this until I started reading about the macOS compat. I would use this for programming for work on a macOS and gaming after work on a windows machine

I'm currently using a 38" dell UW my work gave to me, and text is a bit blurry but not awful. I've heard of a program called Truedisplay which may fix some of the osx issues? I'm mainly concerned about text clarity. My eyes currently get real tired when looking at logs and wondering how this would fare

Oh wow, this is amazing. I had no idea there was a 144HZ+ OLED monitor that is also 4K on the market… let alone at this price! Personally holding out for a 27 inch with similar specs as I feel that's more comfortable for competitive gaming. Hell of a deal though for many people that like 32 inch
