I ended up returning this though. Third party support unless you want to shell out additional money, but the biggest reason is they counted the 1-year warranty from DATE OF MANUFACTURE, not date of purchase. In my case that gave me a 7-month warranty. They offered to give me the year from purchase but ended up denying the request two days later.
I bought another Lenovo model in January, and the warranty policy on mine reads as follows:
"The warranty period for the product starts on the original date of purchase as shown on your sales receipt or invoice or as may be otherwise specified by Lenovo."
Maybe the language of the warranty period is different for the OP product, and if so, I would like to see it.

The laptop has 5.7 hours battery life when brand new, which Target rounded to 6 hours on its website. But battery life degrades over time, so it'd be even worse once you used the laptop over the years. And even worse than that if you used it for computationally-intensive tasks. All of my other laptops are 8 hrs+ battery life, even my cheap ASUS with similar specs.
