Is this what you all are seeing?
Anyone has idea how to boost it to 4.4? Any issues doing so?
Thanks
- Small battery
- Windows
My guesses.
CPU is pretty great - cpubenchmark shows 11533, so going from old 5000 ranked desktop - this one is smooth for the price.
Added another 8gb RAM stick from amazon for $21 - not required but if you run apps that eat up memory its worth the $21.
One this that really sucks is the screen - it sucks , not crisp since its TN panel but what do you expect from $300.
I don't use the laptop monitor, instead connected to the Dell USB-C hub I had and have 3 x 4k 32" LG monitors connected running awesome at highest resolution.
Again, not a gaming laptop, but for office day to day work - it's great deal especially if you use external monitors.
Downloaded chrome and firefox. Opened 3 browsers, 4 windows each and running youtube videos on all windows. Not a whisper. Maybe the BRave browser is the issue.

One of the features I liked is that it retains backlit keyboard settings! My 1year old Thinkpad does not and cannot be changed with any settings!

One of the comments here said he thought the screen was so good that he thought it might be IPS. I guess that must have been a sales bot infiltration?
At this point I'm planning to not even unbox this and just send it back.
Ugh. I hate buying computers. I'm glad it's only every 10 years or so for me. lol
