Thanks for the reminder OP!
Registration is not required where I'm at. Just show up.
Many times you can come by a day or two later ask for a few kits. HD staff will give them to you.

Not at all true. A simple search for Lowes Kids right here on slickdeals shows that this month was a note holder, last month was a picture frame, and the month before was something christmas tree/ornament related.

Doable. Thing about Home Depot kits is that you normally have to paint them (Lowe's kits use mostly stickers). Lot of time goes by drying the paint. But 1 hour 15 minutes should be enough I would say.

Also, you can just take the kits home if you like and build them at your own convenience.

Lowe's stopped doing these a number of years ago. Not just "my Lowe's" but nationwide.
I agree… Lowe's stopped doing Kids Workshops years ago.

They're operating on outdated information. Lowe's ended its kids workshops in 2017 and then brought it back in 2020.

Home depot ones are so much better than the ones lowes offers. Much better kits and not stuck in a small room.

I've been bringing my toddlers to Lowe's workshops for probably a year now, so no, they haven't stopped doing them.

OK then we were both right. Excellent outcome: everyone wins!

My kids used to go to these all the time pre-COVID. HD stopped these events for a couple of years then started again. They still have the small HD orange aprons with all the pins you get from completing a project. Guess I'll start taking them again. They used to love going to these.

Yes, we did the Letters to Santa mailbox project at HD during the holiday season and they gave out the orange aprons and pins still. Unfortunately they don't give out the goggles and the small hammer anymore, at least not at my store.

We did the Shoot the Galaxy game project last summer at Lowe's. Seemed very similar to the HD workshops. It was in the main part of the store, not locked up in a small room as someone else experienced. And they still gave out the hammer and goggles.

I've actually found the hammers pretty useful to have around for things like hanging picture frames, arts & crafts, etc.

anyone know how long these take to do? window is 9-12 but we would have 9-1015 or so max. doable?
Most of these kits take probably 20-30mins max, the longest wait is letting the paint somewhat dry.

This is an odd post. They have a different kit every first-saturday of every month. They have tabled and tools setup so you can build and paint them at the store. This isn't anything new.

We do this every 1st of the month at our local Home Depot. You don't necessarily need to register. We just show up and start.
