Seems like a bad quality Masterbator, at least the Juicer body itself. I wonder if this auger will fit my other Omegas from 5-10 years ago that came with 15 YR Warranty but at a higher price. Maybe buy 2 and return one if the auger doesn't fit the others- How is Woot's return policy on this Willy?

Why do you say it ruined your health?
I was juicing mainly fruit. I ALMOST got diabetes. My dr gave me a glucose monitor and juicing fruit gave me INSANE glucose spikes. I'm talking 150s where as a smoothie with the whole fruit gave me 115ish. It basically strips the fiber so it's pure fructose (I was told). Then I switched to all leafy greens and had too many oxylates. I was also ONLY juicing, that's why I said "be careful". If you do it correctly, it's probably fine. I'd assume eating something fibrous like oats will slow the glucose rush. I was putting like 6 oranges and a mango in 1 drink in the morning on an empty stomach. I got real sick, especially from juicing kale and spinach every single day. I was told, you have to rotate veggies as the vitamins eventually "over dose" . I'm making these up but it like 1 cup kale has 100% rdi of vitamin k. It takes 8 cups of kale to get 1 drink. That's 8x the daily vitamin k. Over a month that's 240x the vitamin k. U gotta stager it. Maybe 1 cup kale, 1 orange then like cucumber as a filler. I just shared MY EXPERIENCE, do what you want, juice a tide pod if you want
Edit: also try and juice organic. You're basically concentrating the pesticides by a factor of 20x. For example the fiber in strawberries slows the absorption of pesticides. To make a full cup of strawberry juices takes like 6 days worth of whole strawberries. You're basically mainlining a years worth of pesticides in less than 10 secs. I can't find the study now but there's 1 100% of the chemicals are present when juiced, where as in whole fruit like 70% is attached to the insoluble fiber that you just poop out
It took me 6 months of zero carb (carnivore) to get my blood work back normal . After juicing my fasting glucose was 105. It's 70 now. After I make a smoothie it bumps to 115 then cruises at 85ish
My understanding from YouTube videos (I'm just a high school graduate) is fructose (fruit sugar) is really NO different than table sugar. Table sugar is just as natural as fruit sugar IF YOU EAT SUGAR CANE. But we eat sugar cane minus the "cane" the fiber. Juicing fruit is essentially this process with fruit. You're removing the fiber but keeping the sugar and the vitamins. Essentially maple syrup. Sugar with a few vitamins and minerals. He was explaining how fructose (fruit sugar) it actually more dangerous and that why I became pre diabetic so fast. Glucose (table sugar) can fuel muscles and organs. Fructose goes straight to the liver, all of it. So say 1 orange is 1 unit of fructose. A whole orange has fiber so the liver processes .5 units at a time (slows down absorption of fructose) to make a glass of oj it takes 8 oranges. That's 8 units of fructose all at once. I wasn't saying don't do it. I said be careful. Vegetables are a whole nother debate. There the whole "vegetables are trying to kill you crowd". I'm not sure that eating a whole "broccoli" is bad, like they say, but concentrating it and drinking a months worth of broccoli in 5 secs did affect me.
Tldr, juicing fruit isn't much different from drinking str8 maple syrup or honey. It's just sugar (fructose) with some vitamins and minerals
Btw, I still juice, I got the Nama j2 and love it. Just be aware, maybe starting your day with 8 concentrated mangoes might not be wise
Edit edit: I thought I'd add how much I was juicing. No food just juice
Breakfast. 1 cup if fruit juice. Either 8 oranges and a half mango or 7 apples
Lunch: the other 1 from breakfast (either the oj or apples)
Dinner: I'd spend $10 on (leafy greens, kale/spinach/broccoli) and 2 apples to mask the taste
Essentially 8 oranges a mango 9 apples and a lb a leafy greens per day and no fiber.
One thing I did find REALLY helpful and sometimes nasty 😂 is medicinal use. Say you have a really upset stomach, you can juice ginger and it's super concentrated. When my family had covid and I was paranoid, I juice like 10 kiwis and it'd make one glass of vitamin c that's 10x the amount of the rdi.

I bought an Omega J8004 in 2012 and have been impressed with it's performance and ruggedness. I've used it a lot, so much that I've worn out the auger (prickly pears may have damaged it). It still works, but I can see the wear on the auger. A new auger costs more than this H3000D
One big difference with this one is there's no blank mincing cone. The 8006 has a blank cone that allows you to chop/mince veggies rather than juice. It's a great way to process pineapple for canning juice. Even without the blank cone, the H3000D seems like an incredible deal. The reviews aren't great on this one, but I'm in for one. $35 for "any" Omega juicer is a SD in my opinion.
Be careful. Juicing ruined my health pretty fast but I liked the taste. Smoothies have been much better for me. Keeps the fiber
Your wording is very misleading, hence your follow up. Juicing didn't ruin your health, not practicing moderation and not doing research ahead of time ruined your health.

Isn't that everything? "Smocking crack ruined my health:. "Well if you moderate crack to 1 rock per day and use extra foil to filter the smoke…" ..I digress, but the more I learn about health since my scare, really no amount of fruit juicing is "healthy". The best studies we have shoe just the fructose in 2 oranges is enough to "saturate" the liver. Anything more than 2 juiced oranges signals the body to store fat around the liver and causes insulin resistance. Some studies show 1 juiced apple will do it. Fructose is dangerous. That why god or evolution never put it here naturally. It's only in the last 50 or so years have humans been able to eat fructose. Even honey has glucose
