I paid $24.97 in store with the two free batteries last month. I believe it was an in-store special, and the batteries should have been another $24.96.

Good little cordless screwdriver, has sufficient torque for a SCREWDRIVER....
its not a drill, its not an impact driver. I have used mine for months and dismantled old cheap furniture, no problems. and installed a bunch of security cameras, this was able to drive screws into my siding without issue. ITS NOT A DRILL. Battery life is good, and getting the 2 spares are a great deal as well !! So the unit plus 3 batteries.

If that's the worthwhile metric that we're judging this by, then there are 27 pages of 5 star reviews.

Are these any good at all. Need a decent hobby screwdriver for my rc stuff. I'll have to put my own JIS bits in obviously, but looking for something not as torquey as my M12 surge and a bit smaller.

At first glance seems like a really great deal. Someone in a review mentioned that it was a good product for $24 in November 2022, though. Perhaps that was without the extra batteries?? Anyone familiar with the price history of this?

I have had two of the previous model (lost them in a fire a couple of months ago) and now have this one as well and they work fine for what I need them for such as removing panels from motorycles/cars etc. Obviously it does not have a lot of torque.

I bought this exact model without the extra batteries in January for $24.97, so you're paying $15 for the two extra batteries. Not bad, IMO.

Are the batteries useful for anything else? I imagine if I had nothing else it'd be better to get one that's rechargeable. Does anyone know if it has a variable trigger?

I have one, it locks up at seemingly the slightest amount of resistance. Thought I'd use it for replacing some old light switches recently and quickly gave up on it. Would not recommend.

I like this for driving pilot holes with a bit, then using a real drill for screws. quick back and forth. Don't confuse this for a real drill
