This Moto is a bit better than the TCL, mainly noticeable in battery size and camera resolution. The TCL is $20 cheaper and more portable. This Moto at 6.6" tall is close to being absurd for phone size.

All Motorola phones are factory unlocked. However, it is sold by Tracfone thru HSN so Tracfone locks the service to Tracfone. Tracfone allows unlocking after 60 days of service. It is very easy to unlock it then online with Tracfone, as they will provide you with 2 long codes that you enter and then Tracfone releases it.

+1 to this question. More generally, given two Tracfone phones with activated prepaid "plans," is there a way to consolidate them into one (extending time and allotments and ideally also combining points)?

Potentially important detail: after 60 days of service on a given SIM (i.e. if you move to another SIM the clock seems to reset).

Currently using the 2020 Moto g power. I like it fine. Didn't want the 2021 or 2022 versions as I don't think they are as good. More of a downgrade imo.
It had been a TracFone but I unlocked it after the 60 days waiting period and now use it with TMobile. No problems.

Hoping for a deal on the A53 soon.
