Good price on a "like new" Merlot case. The cork case has some mixed reviews with it being too "soft" to the touch.

These were even cheaper used/returned a few months ago. I think I got a denim cover for like five bucks. I'd say the quality is about as good as a nicer Chinese alphabet-soup brand case from amazon or aliexpress, but not head and shoulders above them, certainly not to an extent that justifies the outrageous MSRP.

The "like new" case I received didn't look like it had ever been opened

Shocked anyone buys the 'amazon' brand for any Kindle for these prices.. outrageous.

Fintie denim for 7.99 is excellent and feels premiums. I know mark-up are always hefty in retail, but the Kindle covers feels illegally expensive

I've taken the approach that I won't buy anything less than "Like New" from Amazon Warehouse, and even then some garbage slips through. I have gotten some good deals though, sometimes the item was never even opened. YMMV

I got a denim one in a bundle on prime day. It's a nice case but definitely not worth $40+ that they usually sell for but it's definitely worth it for $8.xx.

I bought a "very good" Fabric one a few months ago for $1.92. Mine basically looked brand new and like someone opened it and said no and put it back into the packaging. I have not seen it for that low since but for many months it was in the under $10 range (maybe like $7-$8). For anyone with the free kids case, the fabric case is similar build but the fabric is textured as opposed to the smooth of the kids.

Yeah, the fintie case I had for a previous kindle (or maybe it was a nook?) was nearly identical to these both in design and build quality. I wouldn't be surprised if they came from the same factory
