It's not though. I have yet to find any type of pay to play in this game. Been playing since launch. Not sure where this stuff comes from.

Well I actually own the game and am currently playing. That link is almost a year old. I've never been prompted to buy anything. Those are credits you earn when you win races. I just won a race and got 80,000 credits to buy new cars or parts. No one says you have to buy it. Just giving my experience.
