Big and sexy folks be advised: Voyager's website has a lower max weight capacity (265 lbs vs 330) than Woot's.

Excellent deal. FYI, the refurbs are $55 less BUT they're pictured without the front brake which at 22mph is critical. The new one is easily worth the extra $$$. Thanks OP

I've used this personally and it's miles better than the jetson pro.

Will this bike make me look less manly on the road?

25mph is pretty good for $429 though I would probably look more dorky than usual riding one of these at 6'-1" / 185cm. Not to mention that with my weight at 200Lbs it probably goes a lot slower.

Good catch! But so the new and refurbished are actually different models? The specs are different too (max speed only 18mph on refurb) but the names are the same?

Not as long as you two fingers down when passing other bikers.

It says 90 days woot warranty. Is that correct? I haven't used woot ever and I am confused if it comes with manufacturer's warranty or not.

I never own an e-bike but my e-scooter can tow a 2 child carrier trailer with combine weight of 260 including myself.
I want to get the Radio Flyer e-bike with two child seat in the back but that thing going to cost upward $1800. I was wondering if a cheaper e-bike like this will do the job?

I believe they're the same model but so many people complained about the lack of front disk brake that they added one. I'm guessing the MPH difference is due to a firmware update but I could be wrong. I know the Jetsons can actually go 18mph with a simple update but they removed their Bluetooth modules to save money so they're stuck at 15.5. It's basically just a speed limiter they put on there.

Can I splice and wire some extra battery packs to this to i crease range? Or should I just use my current 26-in huffy beach cruiser, and mod it to do 40 miles, and add a throttle?

I have this bike from a woot sale last year. Ride it everyday to the train and to work. There's a manufacturers menu in the system that allows you to go 24 mph. Im 6 feet and weigh 186. So that's what I'm getting on straight/flat roads. Mileage, I'm getting about 24 miles

Brake(s) are basic single piston mechanical.
Top speed is <20mph.
25 mph readings achieved as display has wheel size
set to 20 inch rather than 16.
Manufacturer (assembler) customer service nonexistent.
