I had these new a while back. Good sound and comfortable fit, but the EQ was just dead. Flatter than a chunk of measuring granite

Weird place to ask.. everytime I try these earbud only style headphones they hurt my ears over time. However original airpods are comfortable as can be. What am I doing wrong?

You may want to try Galaxy live buds. They don't go into your ear canal but not as sound isolating. Otherwise, it's over the ear headphones, but obviously less portable.

You can still buy the Gen 2 AirPods. With the original style. Finding ANC buds that aren't painful is like finding a unicorn.

Try the Sony link buds s they are super super small light and comfortable

Same thing for me..I love the old AirPods and take them everywhere over the AirPods Pro which sit at home now..
On the other hand my brother feels the opposite..so the answer you are looking for is - it depends on the shape of your ear..something that works for you might not work for another person
