I have zero experience from buying a refurb TV. Any feedback or experiences? And buying refurb from Microcenter. THANKS
Get the three year warranty, I bought a C1 65 for 1k and paid for their three year. At year two, it had some weird issues watching Netflix. In hindsight, it might have been an app issue. I called first to explain the issue before driving an hour. They looked up my email and confirmed I was under warranty. When I brought it in, I asked the guy if I should show him pictures as proof and I received a hesitant like "you don't have to but…yeah, sure" response.
They didn't have any refurbed units at the time so I used the 1k for the PC build.
As for the TV, it's a crapshoot, I got one with 250 hours and dings on the bezel. I read of others who got units under 20hours and blemish free.
TL;DR: get their extended warranty, ymmv

2 Years into the purchase and the TV has an issue and the warranty solution is to to try to find another refurb TV? Should it not cover repair or was there some sort of replace clause that only covered replace with another refurb? You have to bring the TV back to MC? What if they are out of business? Also the web site for me shows a 1 year LG warranty. Thought a factory refurb had a full year warranty. I don't see the option at checkout time to add a warranty - is that only done in store?
Bought this last weekend from Microcenter. Tv looks great. I don't see any signs of it ever being used. Also peeled the film off the screen. I was told the warranty is 1 year from the manufacturer on this one. It says that in the description also.

Just bought the 77" version from Microcenter as a refurb. 90 day warranty and I got the 3 yr warranty with screen protection for $299. So far so good. 75 hours on the unit when I got it with no scratches or wear apparent. Came in a brown box.
Just saw my panel hours for the first time. It's 21 hours, so it's safe to say this had virtually no hours on it since I've used it every day this week after buying it Sunday. Probably just a return. I also found it odd that it came in the factory box. Usually refurbs come in generic brown boxes. I've bought 2 from Microcenter and both boxes had minimal details.
Do they let you test them in the store? I'm worried about the pink hue some of these OLEDs get since I watch a lot of hockey and dont want to waste a trip packing unpacking these beasts.

how much was the 77? I saw the A2 but they were asking like 1999

Price seems pretty good, I assume the price on C2 and the refurbs will drop quickly once the C3 is out

They sell extended warranties on returns. You have 30 days to return for a refund.
I wish I waited for this deal.....
