I remember "playing" Myst on Sega Saturn in my early teens and wondering what the hell I didn't understand. There were a few "exciting" moments where something new would happen after hours of trial and error. I don't think I got very far at all. Sadly, since there wasn't much content for the Saturn much of my memories of playing it was just blankly trying random things in Myst. I should have just gone outside! What a waste of youth!

Riven and 3: Exile are my favorites. The fourth one was very 🤷 in my opinion. if you have only played the original and you enjoyed it, you should definitely play the second and third at least.

I had the original MYST on my Macintosh. I think it was my first CD-ROM game. I never liked it.

Fun game and mysterious, though at times frustrating, and rather revolutionary at the time... but play it again now?? Stick Out Tongue I bought both Myst and Riven back in the day and once you solved them, not a lot of point in replaying. Then or now.

Probably true. But I never made it past the tower in Myst. I didn't make it past opening scene on the second one. I may enjoy it now

It's kinda like "the raven" or no man's sky. Or Blair witch project. Blair witch can be crazy scary if u thought it was nonfiction but if u came in knowing it's made up.. a silly experience.

There's even an online multi-player game.
