Dude have you read through any of the comments? With so many people still commenting that they missed the deal, it's obvious how many people don't take a little time browse through the comments to track the progress of the deal.

Anyone can get this deal whether your location has it in stock or not. Ask a Best Buy rep to order it for you and they will charge you the sale price. Simple as that. I know it's hard to comprehend Best Buy doing something right after the iPad price match fiasco from a couple of weeks ago but people really need to check the thread comments and stop asking the same questions over and over again

$220 for a Name brand 5.1 4k receiver? And speakers? And a sub? Maybe 10 years ago.

I just paid 250 for this receiver 2 months ago refurbished.

It's a solid device BTW. Paired it with a JAMO set.

Forgive my ignorance, I have never owned a receiver and I want to purchase this receiver but I dont want to hook up any A/V source to it (no ps5, no blu ray player etc.), I just want to hook up my tv to it (into one of its input hdmi) so that I can hear what comes out of my tv to this receiver's speakers, effectively using it as if it were a soundbar, so there would be no video just audio input from the tv to the receiver Hope that makes sense. I couldnt find a straight answer online. Is this doable?
Yes, it works. Took some time to figure out the setup. There is a video on YouTube, he also had similar settings on his yamaha. There was no sound once I setup, had to crank it up to start hearing it.

At least double. I just bought the amp on sale via Amazon new for $199. I considered that a steal. This is a steal 2x.

I think I saw the video after posting this comment lol the guy says it will receive the audio from the hdmi arc port. Im still debating if I should purchase it or not, how are you liking it so far?

Lol. Been running a 9.3.2 setup for years now, but okay. It's a 4 year old budget 5.1 setup. Pro tip: clearance items from BestBuy or other retail stores aren't always a deal when you can buy from other places for less. bulb
Dream on you can't buy this 7 piece set for less than $220. You're a troll at best. Nobody gives two shits about your setup.

This is a super slick deal if you can find one. Receivers are still hard to find because of chip shortages. So a name brand one with speakers for this price is a steal. Definitely a great entry level 5.1 setup. Most people don't need more than that.

Ordered full price for pick
Up. Let's hope it's the lower price when/if available for pick up.

I myself am wondering how that will work out. I'm assuming if your local store has it in stock regardless of location the price is $220? Is this correct?

It's really good, especially for the price. The main selling point for me was the eARC compatibility. Other than that, the speakers are nice and the subwoofer does the job pretty well. I'm very happy with my purchase.
Just to confirm, do you have video going to tv, and then one earc to the receiver from the TV, because that's my ideal setup.

The only issue will be if the price is back to 649.99 and or the product page item is pulled. Then you have no chance..other than ofcourse cancel pickup.
