Dude have you read through any of the comments? With so many people still commenting that they missed the deal, it's obvious how many people don't take a little time browse through the comments to track the progress of the deal.

Anyone can get this deal whether your location has it in stock or not. Ask a Best Buy rep to order it for you and they will charge you the sale price. Simple as that. I know it's hard to comprehend Best Buy doing something right after the iPad price match fiasco from a couple of weeks ago but people really need to check the thread comments and stop asking the same questions over and over again

$220 for a Name brand 5.1 4k receiver? And speakers? And a sub? Maybe 10 years ago.

I just paid 250 for this receiver 2 months ago refurbished.

It's a solid device BTW. Paired it with a JAMO set.

Man, got the ipad at bestbuy a couple of weeks ago and just got this. Huge fan of both Slickdeals and bestbuy at the moment. Thanks OP!

The customer service rep said it was out of stock online but was able to source the last 1 in the area at a local store for me to pickup.

hmm debating if this is worth the 80 mile round trip drive. there's one 40 miles away but not sure if its worth it.

I just have a Samsung frame tv with a sound bar. Can anyone comment on the sound for music? Often like to play music from the tv.

You'd definitely want better speakers for music. Just wait for the RX-V385 to go on sale for $199.00 ($155.00 open box) and then grab some real speakers on CL, FB, Offerup or the local thrift store. You'd be surprised what's out there for peanuts.

Can someone measure the box it comes in? I keep seeing that this is heavy and in a large box but I'm trying to find out if it will fit in my small car without tearing the box apart in the parking lot. Thanks!

Great sound. Definitely a decent deal at this price for its feature and quality.
Too bad that I don't have a good TV to support this theater system.
Just returned mine at McKinney, TX store today.
It is $155 as an open-box item and should be sitting in the clearance area.
If you want one, go grab it before it is gone.
That's funny, I ordered it from that store late at night 2/25/early morning 2/26, but they cancelled mine since we must've ordered it around the same time. Took another look last night and ordered it again, so will head over to pick it up.

I was there and about to ask the sales representative to order one for me, and she told me that they do have an open box item which is not showing on the web site, so I took it.I hope that you will score it this time.

Most likely warehouse is out of stock now so they can only pull from a local store, if there's none in your area they won't be able to.
I went to a local store and they lacked inventory so they ordered to another store very far away, can I ask them to ship to home Or the closest store?

Can we use in India if take from USA
Not possible. All US home theatre systems and receivers support 110v. I learnt the hard way myself. If you really want one, source from South America. They have toggle switch for 110v and 220v

This receiver is listed for 110v only. Does not work in India without a step-down transformer.

That's odd advice, this has the RX-V385, so $21 for the crappy speakers and subwoofer is worth grabbing. I'm planning on grabbing some Klipsch floorstanding speakers and using the rears, center, and subwoofer for awhile. I'm sure I'll upgrade everything eventually though.

Didn't mean it like that. The RX-V385 with the speakers is now pretty much done. Yes, $220.00 is worth it just for the 385 and ya might be able to sell the cheap speakers and sub for a hundred bucks if ya get lucky.

I went into store and it rang up to $220 but no option to pickup in store or ship since they are OOS everywhere locally
I was able to go to another Bestbuy (an hour away with the only one left) that I had reserved as an online order. I picked up the online order to return it at another Bestbuy nearby and repurchase at the $220 price.

It is open box - excellent but sold as new since returning it and waiting for restock was going to be a hurdle in itself and they weren't able to discount this any further since it was at the lowest price for a new item.

I decided to bite the bullet and just pay the $220 price even thought it was open box and there wasn't one available to ship or any open boxes left in the 100 mile radius I live in.

Still a great deal even if it isn't new!!
