Whilst the machine is great once it is set up, hope you don't have any issues as their customer service is atrocious. I bought my machine during holidays and one of the main panels didn't have all the holes drilled making it impossible to put (yet another QA issue). Response from their CS is slow and they treat you like you are a nuisance. Took a total of 1 month just to get a new panel shipped to me. Just making folks aware in case that matters.

There's $100 shipping charge. My suggestion, keep your eye on the Sam's Club app and wait for the $349 deal. They come in and out of stock fairly regularly.
Others may want to wait for the new ALU 4K being released later this year. No word on price yet, though.

Same experience with their CS for me too. Had some issues on a brand new unit and they weren't very helpful at all with long lapses between responses. Like you said, all good if your unit has no issues, but if it does, good luck getting proper support. That alone made me not want to purchase anything else from them.
Most people bought these at Sam's at significantly less over the holidays... expect more discounts on this old stock as the new updated version comes out later this year...

The 4k pinball I can understand, but 4K retro games machine?

I don't disagree with that. The bigger bonus would be the extra CPU power for additional emulated game systems through CoinOPS, but the 4K screen is overkill. The other bonus is the new 4K arcade has the BitLCD marquee already included, which is an expensive add-on. All depends on the price, which is TBD at this point.
They could be found on clearance in a few Sam's Clubs at $199, but they were few and far between. Cheapest shipped price has been $349.
You didn't read the comments - people were getting their local Sam's to price match the Sam's that had it on clearance, there was no hunt, just depended on knowledge and awareness that it was possible to do that.

Understand that completely; in fact, I had Sam's do the same for my Legends Pinball. But as these are no longer found in store and are shipping only, that option isn't available and has been widely posted Sam's is no longer accepting price matches on these products. As the OP posted a product which requires shipping, that's what I'm using as the control.
