Are they not compatible?
they are compatible. but non hp batteries make these brushless tools less powerful
I think they do this only when the bundle has a tool that doesn't utilize HP output, such as the driver in this kit. Although the other 2 tools do use the higher amperage, I guess they just defaulted to the cheaper batteries for the driver. I find it annoying as well
Not all brushless tools utilize the extra contacts for higher amperage battery output
I would get this in a heartbeat over the brushed. The light in the brushed kit is worthless and the 5.5" circular saw is pretty weak.
