The price at $500+ for my zip code.

I tried different zip code to get $199 but it changed back to $500+ when I selected pick-up or ship to home. I want that charger.

Think I read that 6 port charges only charges one battery at a time which seems worthless since it won't charge all 6 simultaneously.

With the sequential charger, you plug in all 6 batteries and they'll all be fully charged and ready to go in the morning. If it was simultaneous charging, each battery would charge so slowly that it'd take all night to charge them all and you end up with the same result.

Not all brushless tools utilize the extra contacts for higher amperage battery output
I was about to pull the trigger before reading this. So neither the bundle nor the free gift batteries are HP? Is this a good deal? I would likely rarely use the saw, would have been more interested in the ratchet or multi tool....

None of the batteries in this deal are HP. Skip this deal if you don't think you'll be using the tools in it.

Don't buy Ryobi brand bits as they're always reportedly breaking or wearing down really quickly and stripping screws. I've been using DeWalt and like them. Heard good things about Bosch also

You should consider this kit and returning the 6 port charger kit (hacking the deal) and potentially selling the circ saw: https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI.../319654472

That kit comes with HP batteries that are 4Ah and 2Ah (way better than the batteries in this kit if you get HP tools in the future) and you get the multitool. The circ saw reviews okay, the biggest issue is the stamped shoe which deflects. You could flip it if you dont need it.

Thanks so much! This is exactly what I ended up doing. Don't plan to keep the multi charger and inferior batteries, but great price for the main kit! Appreciate the advice on this one.

For someone starting with power tools, Do you recommend this Brushless kit or the 6 tool Non Brushless kit?
I bought the 6 tool and very happy with it. I just it for simple household work.

This is a great deal. Unless you push your tools to the limit, which usually means you're using the wrong tool, don't worry about the non-HP batteries. The impact driver (have the 4 mode version) doesn't even have the extra contacts for HP batteries and I don't think the reciprocating saw does either. The drill driver (have the hammer drill model) does. I have HP and non-HP batteries and even for the high torque impact wrench, the difference isn't huge. As a homeowner and former tradesman, I'd be all over this if I didn't already have these tools.
