I'd expect these to be $80 once "Ryobi days" comes around, or $100 + tool.
Think NEW car warranty. A 2023 Model Year vehicle may have been manufactured on 11/20/2022, but was just purchased on 2/26/2023. The warranty starts from 1st purchase date, of 1st owner so 2/26/2023. Subsequent owners would get residual remaining warranty from 2/26/2023.

Weird thing is the 1.5AH battery in the sealed Battery Power Source plastic clamshell packaging is the 32nd week of 2022 which is fairly new and kind of what I was expecting for the 4AH battery. Disappointed the 4AH battery is the older case design and I prefer the newer design with the larger and brighter battery level LEDs.
I bought another 4AH battery with the hedgetrimmer for this deal and it will arrive tomorrow. I'm hoping the 4AH battery is at least the newer battery design with the larger and brighter LEDs. Not ok with new old stock.
