The difference is with the o-cedar, you need to step on a piece on the bucket to for it to spin the mop. With the Libman, it is done by pushing on the handle of the mop. Foot vs hand for spining the mop.
Well TU, damn, you beat me by about 20 mins to posting this deal. I was just out at Rural King this weekend and they had a couple of these. Just to be clear, it's $15 (after) MIR, and the sale price of $30 is *already* better than everywhere else - so $15 for this is a great deal. Also, I was going to mention in my OP (that I just had to trash) that Libman is a private American family owned company - and this Tornado kit is all Made in USA -- as is most of Libman's products.

Again, great deal on an American made product - nobody else is close to this price.
Shipping is $15 and I don't have any locations near me so I have to pass

The O-Cedar is much better for one reason. When you spin the mop the dirty water is contained in a separate area from the clean water. So you're never mixing clean and dirty water & you don't need to empty the bucket until your done. So this Libman is basically a cheap mop bucket with a spin dryer on top that makes your cleaning solution more and more dirty.

I have the O-Cedar mop and bucket and this isn't true. The spinner sits on top of a plastic piece within the bucket but it strains to the main bucket area as well. Anyway, if you're trying to actually clean and sanitize your floors, you need to be mopping with clean solution only then letting it sit for several minutes before actually doing any kind of mopping up the wet stuff.

There is a different version of the O-Cedar that does separate the water, but it's $50 at target with no rebate available.

The rebate works at any store so just get it at Target. It'll be cheaper there anyway once you clip the $10 off Target Circle offer. Other discounts like the 5% from RedCard will bring it even lower. The $10 Target Circle offer won't apply with shipping, but it does work for pickup or in-store (or same day delivery for the few that subscribe to Shipt).

Hey, I agree with your recommendation on that $10 Circle coupon from Target. Honestly, the Target deal is worthy of its own SD post unless the OP adds it to this deal. If he doesn't, then you should post it… Targets are much more common than Rural Kings, so more people can get in on the deal.

I've seen lots of people complain about that version though.

The mopheads for the Libman seem way expensive from what I've seen.

In the time it took you to type that you could have searched refill prices on your own. $8 at both Lowe's and Home Depot. A discount store in my area has them for $7. Well reviewed generics on Amazon are less than $5 each when bought in multi-packs.

The mop heads aren't disposables like a Swiffer so $8 or less seems very reasonable.

Too lazy to create a new thread that mods would likely merge with this one anyway. Plus, my only local Target only has two of these in-stock that I can't pickup until later in the week.

Wouldn't be ideal for a new thread to create so much visibility on the deal that someone buys up the few I can find my rural area.

The bucket mechanism is great. But mop fibers are very polyester feel, not that that water absorbent. Water feels like its just... sitting on the fibers. We use a twist and shout that a better 'mop feel' in the heads.

THIS.

I had that Ocedar one & it spins the dirt from the mop into the water. So yes, you are mopping your floors with dirty water. it's so gross and if you have white floors, you can see the dirt (especially at the end of the chore because the water gets dirtier & dirtier).

I use a Bona mop now - the cheap one with a microfiber cloth with blue stripes. I use plain water & mop a section, go rinse the mop head in the sink (with a sink strainer), then mop another section and repeat. It's so easy and if you have a lot of dust or hair, you can see it all in the strainer & throw it out rather than dumping it down the drain in a bucket,

My floors look & feel clean.

Depends on which version you have. There are 2 versions.

This unit is single bucket, very comparable to the Libman, for about $35
https://www.amazon.com/Cedar-Easy...th=1&psc=1

This one is similar to the one above but the clean and dirty waters are separated, for $50
https://www.amazon.com/Cedar-Easy...th=1&psc=1

There was a deal on it for around $35-40 around a week ago.

Thank you! Just put in an order for in store pickup. I also had about $20 in gift cards from T-mobile tuesday. So my order looked like this

$38.99 - $10 (circle) - $0.96 (5% red card) - $20 (gift card) = $10.20 after tax. And the $15 rebate on top of that.
