What a joke! This site has completely gone to hell since it was bought by Goldman Sachs.

I have generator transfer switch at my place. Is there a way that it I connect to the transfer switch that takes NEMA L14-20R?

I know it's not necessary for sous vide but we would definitely use the vacuum sealer for freezing food as well. Since this is set to be $25 off starting tomorrow I might pull the trigger.
Don't underestimate how many people will choose to pay more for perceived quality and higher class atmosphere versus good prices. That's how Target stays in business.
In fact, one person I know used to joke about going to Costco being a religious experience to the point we both started calling it the "Church of Costco" and "Church of Apple". When he told me he went to Costco he would say "I went to worship at the Church of Costco today". True story. Not a joke, man.
That said, the return/rebuy tactic is something you can always use, however with large items not so easy to pull off. What I've done in the past is approach CS, ask them for a PA. When they start talking about "30 days" I just tell them what I am going to do - load up a cart with some giant heavy and bulky thing, buy it, then haul it to them for a return, and it will then be in their way and they'll waste an employee's time hauling it back. They typically then realize that refusing the PA is stupid. I will say though, that typically those transactions don't go through as PA's but instead a buy/return but on paper only - literally, ring up the SKU, pay for it, then immediately return the item. The math is the same in the end but I think they may have some managerial or system performance metrics that dissuade them from doing PA's past 30 days.

This is correct, however in my experience they typically check to make sure the product is currently in stock and the actual current price. For that, I'll usually swing by the product and snap a photo, in case there is a discrepancy.
