I'm not a huge fan of genie. I just ordered this one over the weekend at Lowe's. Got their credit card which gave me 20% off my first purchase, so I got it for $253 with free shipping. I have about 10-year old Chamberlain and I cannot stand it. It's inconsistent for opening and closing doors using our car Homelike or any of the remotes. I can pull out of my garage and with maybe 3-feet with the bumper to the garage door, it will not close. So we use the MyQ as a back-up, but that also is inconsistent app which will log you out and require login in, or sometimes give you a server issue.

I bought this Genie because our relationship with Chamberlain is over.

The Lowe's one at ~$229 doesn't appear to have to smart capability. The Amazon one is $50 cheaper than the current price at Costco.

Never been logged out past few years. I'm the owner and my wife has her own login as a guest. If you're iOS delete the app then reinstall it and should be fixed

Did you make sure to leave the antenna lead sticking out? That might be the issue with range/consistency.
