YMMV Today I went to Walmart and noticed the iPad pros in the cage were marked down to $549 which seemed like a good deal. I asked her to take it out and indeed it was the 11" 3rd gen M1 ipad pro!! That's a pretty good deal marked down by $200

Unlike you I am no expert on an 'average Walmart shopper', but the fact that American Express Platinum card comes with Walmart+ as one of the benefits makes me think that there's a decent number of Walmart shoppers that care about the differences between the base iPad and Pro version.

There are probably 3 Walmarts nationwide where you can replicate this deal, and only because they made bad stocking decisions and need to get rid of them.
I use an M1 iPad Pro. I can't stand the regular 60hz iPads, and I love Walmart's Great Value tortilla chips Peace I like it better than Tostitos actually, at nearly half the price Applause

The Walmart salted caramel ice cream is one of the best in-store ice creams on the market today IMO, whether that's store or premium brand.

Just because it's Walmart doesn't mean it sucks. Some stuff in there is top of the market.

Their jalapeño kettle chips are also really great.

That said, I'd agree that Walmart and premium aren't normally associated with each other. But you'd be surprised at what you'll find in there. For Palm corned beef and Shin Black noodles their prices are the best in my region (PNW).
