Went to LG's website and did a 'compare' against the two.
It looks like the black version has Bluetooth 5.2 vs 5.0 on the white. The black case also had an 'AUX to wireless' option which let's you plug the case into an AUX port and wirelessly stream the music to the buds while the white doesn't have this feature. Finally the design is different with the black versions being bulkier at the ear with a smaller stem sticking out while the white ones look like earpod copies with a longer stem.
I kind of like that AUX feature and I think that sold me on these for the price.
I had many, many pairs of the "around the neck" style LG Bluetooth headphones before true wireless earbuds were a thing. Like probably 10 of them between me and my family. We always appreciated them. My wife still prefers them.

Those NeckBand style LG's remain some of THE best for gym use- you have all controls needed in a compact form. The earbuds sound nice, but usually lack SOME portion of control (so have to rely on playlist etc) All but one set of these (out of 12+) still work fine!

You must be buying the sport versions. Most of the sets I've had died after a couple years of abuse in the gym (I sweat a lot)

As for multipoint, these do not have it. From a quick google search it looks like "multi pairing" just means you can pair it to several devices:
