Uniquinol is the prodrug of coq10 meaning you metabolize coq10 into the usable form called uniquinol. The older you are specifically after 50 you lose the ability to metabolize coq10 into ubiquinol.

This seems to be the lower version...? The better version claims to be Qunol Mega "The active form"... 120 100mg for $38 vs 180 100mg of the Ultra for $38 at Costco.com

From what the manufacturer says, the Mega is better for older people and this for younger. Not sure what age it is that you become older. 50?

I got Doctor's Best Coq10 last October. Not sure if it's working or not but it's $16 with S&S for 120 count.

Costco's current stock seems to be identical product as this one; just has 60 more.
