Wonder how that gpu performs against the Ryzen igpu though… 🤔

This Inspiron 5625 is a better deal in almost every way. Graphics performance will be lower than the MX550 but not really by enough to matter.

The iGPU on the 5500u is a Vega 7 which isn't bad for integrated gfx and is paired with 4266mhz ram, but the 450 is significantly faster. I'd assume the same for the 550 compared to the Vega 8 on the 5825u.

For instance this is an Inspiron 3000 series, which is their lowest line or entry level laptops. They sell ones with lower specs, like pentium or celeron processors, 4GB ram and whatnot for round $200.. same chassis, just different components. Are you really wanting to spend $500+ on a $200 laptop? It feels extremely cheap, believe me don't make the mistake. Instead at least start with their Inspiron 5000 series, a bit of an upgrade, this is their mid tier level, but honestly if I was buying a Dell I'd shop for their 7000 series, it's like a cheaper XPS (their flagship), not w/ all the bell and whistles but enough and w/o the high price tag. If you can wait I'd wait for a deal on them. Screw these 3000 series, instant disappointment soon as you open the box..
