Ryobi 18V Dual Temp Glue gun.
a few handy glue gun if you are in the 18V ecosystem.
get while it is in stock as this keeps going out of stock and takes weeks for it to come back. Great price if you can get it.
I finally grabbed it after going OOS 3 times over the past month trying to get it.

Got this for $21 new from DTO a year ago with a free electrostatic sprayer and free shipping. I get that it's pointless to mention an expired deal but this is a terrible price regardless.
Yeah the single temp gun is 19.99 on dto without any sale, eo sounds about right. The single temp gun does go on sale for 8.99 at dto frequently, I finally picked one up during the last free shipping sale.
Just out of curiosity, what are people using hot glue guns for? Hot glue screams school projects and arts and crafts to me, but as a test I glued a piece of 2x4 to a stud suspended in air and I'm surprised that it actually held. Seems hot glue has a stronger bond than I anticipated, so I'm curious what other uses people put this thing to.

Thats a fantastic price - was this posted anywhere? I did search and didnt see but ended purchasing the dual-temp gun and rotary tool combo during the last DTO sale for $60. I didnt really need the rotary tool but happy with the purchase.
Side note: there was confusion of whether the above combo was supposed to include an inverter tool, which they showed on a thumbnail picture but it didnt include (which I'm still sore about!). Did anyone actual receive the inverter tool or successfully argue to get it sent? Just curious.

It's great for temporary connections. I've seen people use it to plane down warped boards in their planer, you hot glue the wood with some stabilizing pieces to a big sheet of MDF.
Think your bench is too low? Hot glue some 2x4 chunks under it to see if you prefer it higher. If you don't you just tear them back off, if you do you go out and buy longer 4x4 legs or whatever
It is one of those things that you forget is an option though. I have my hot glue gun in plain view, unlike a good number of my tools, because I forget to use it unless I see that it's there

Yes it was posted. There were over a dozen threads for different free tool combos. They even had the compact glue gun with free sprayer for $11.19 shipped.
Rotary combo for $60 is not bad, and a lot better than this.

I use the mini for so much that I needed to really get a larger one.
I use or should say teenager uses the mini for crafts, gluing tree twigs and other items for school projects, and pretty much for modeling.
I used the mini, and now this larger one because it fits my needs better, for landscaping fabric to costum drainage pipes, wood picture frame style for lids and caps, holding things temporarily in place when I need a third hand and don't have one or instead of using pins or claps when a quick dap of hot glue will do, etc.
Endless possibilities, basically anything you would use Gorilla Glue or Super Glue for, you can use Gorilla Glue Sticks instead and get better results.
With the right Glue Stick you can pretty much do anything.
I also got one of these for $25 at a recent DTO sale, brand new. $40 is a mediocre price but if you need a glue gun this one is great and works really well.
