Diluting Castile soap makes a great foaming soap replacement and a single bottle last a long time
dear naïve people falling for such "foam" marketing;

this is 60%-80% water aka "agua"
if you actually own a foaming dispenser
you already know to take ANY liquid soap
then add 60-80% water to get it to foam properly.

Overpriced hand soap IMHO. Can get better value for money elsewhere without sacrificing quality.

If you have a Wegmans near you then get there store brand. It's better value, vegan so no animal fats, etc. Here's a link as a reference:
https://shop.wegmans.com/search?s...price_high

Another option that comes to mind is buying handsoap from Target when they have the get-a-bonus-gift-card offer on the health and beauty category. Also check Costco and BJs as their prices are better if you have their membership or can borrow their membership card from a family or friend.

So any difference between this and the equivalent liquid hand soap diluted with water?

I keep buying this one cause in my experience, it's the only one that doesn't dry the hell out of my hands. I hate having dry hands but this one is the least problematic for me.

They make moisturizing anti-bacterial regular liquid soap too. Ever tried that?

I have gojos in the high traffic bathrooms the kids use. There are two primary differences between foaming and regular hand soaps:

1. Preservative. The foaming hand soaps typically have preservatives that are different than liquid soap because the chemical compositions/water contents are different. They can go bad and mold which for soap is not good.
2. Suspension. If you dilute regular hand soap it will be in a colloidal suspension and due to its higher tallow/saturated ratios it may not fully mix and stratify over time. You can minimize that by mixing it in warm to hot water, but over time it will still separate some.

This soap specifically SUCKs in a Gojo while it foams its lather dies pretty quick and you need to use 2x for it to spread like the Gojo soap, so the cost per mL of usable is the same. I bought a bunch of this last time, really regret that. Maybe the Dial dispenser adds more air, but in general this is a highly overrated soap IMHO.

I have also tried the tablet refills, they are the worst (you can never fully dissolve the pack) and end up costing more than the most expensive method.

I have found Bastion or cutting off the Pacific Blue top is more cost effective than Gojo, but Gojo soap is top notch. I'm going to try Zep at HD which is more watery so it may thin out better than other products.

BTW many people laugh I use Gojo but my brother runs facilities for a major school district and the Gojo dispensers use 33% the soap per dose versus hand pump or others (maybe GP does also), so it saves the school district millions per year. So take that as you will, I only have to refill Gojo maybe every 6 months and the high traffic bathroom may see 50 or more visits a day by the kids/fam.

So yes you can do it, but it is not ideal.

The other primary difference is that diluted liquid hand soap will gunkify the foaming pump.

I don't have experience with the GoJo, but I do know that foaming pumps are manufactured for specific air/water ratios. It's quite probable that the GoJo pumps are different than Dial, Method, etc. Dial and Method pumps are likely different as well (they were 10 years ago).

I guess I lucked out because our $10 rechargeable auto-sensing foaming dispenser I got on Amazon over a year ago seems to work mostly fine with regular Softsoap (or the Kirkland version) diluted with warm water. I find that I do have to shake the dispenser every few days to get the solution to de-separate, and sometimes add soap or water to get the ratio just right, but I haven't noticed any gunking of the nozzle and it's worked out ok. The dispenser only holds around 5oz and we use it often enough that mold hasn't been an issue so far. But I can see the convenience of diluted soap meant for foaming dispensers, which are so much nicer and more cost-effective than regular soap dispensers, especially the auto-sensing kind like we have (it's the blue and white plastic kind that looks like a penguin or shark).

Buy Dr. Teals Foaming Bath for $6 and make your own Foaming hand soaps. 34 fluid oz should give you at least 17 refills if you use 2 Oz with every 6-7 Oz of water and it would cost you 35 cents a refill
