Highly rated mechanical pencils. These usually go for upwards of $10-20 for each pencil, the 0.4 mm green one is limited to Japanese markets and isn't sold in the US by US vendors hence these are all sold by third parties likely from Japanese markets. I've purchased 3 sets and am very impressed. Much cheaper than the three 0.5 mm ones I got the kids for stocking stuffers which were $20 each, ouch.

Third-party sellers but lowest it has been for a while at $20.43, usually about $30

    Heads up the 0.4 mm Graphgear pencil is apparently only available in Japanese markets, hence a lot of these are third party resellers from Japan. You can find the lead on Amazon but there aren't US retailers selling the 0.4 mm pencil. The other sizes run up to $20 at OfficeMax/Depot EACH. US tax I swear.

    Kids still have to use them at school, especially for essay writing now that ChatGPT took over lol.

    I used to use the Pentel 0.5 mm Quiker Clicker mechanical pencil in high school and college (engineering)... this thing is like a surgical syringe with a retractable tip and solid metal barrel. Oh how times of changed lol.
